Precision Coatings manufactures a family of high performance coatings for the commercial architectural, institutional, automotive fleet, OEM and recreational marine markets. Precision’s high performance coatings are extended lifecycle, SCAQMD VOC compliant, LEED compliant and high grade finish quality. Precision supplies aliphatic polyurethanes, polysiloxane epoxies, waterborne performance polyurethanes, infra-red reflective coatings, anti-graffiti coatings, dry erase interior /exterior wall coating systems, slip-resistant weatherable floor sealers and corrosion resistant primers. Precision utilizes high quality automotive pigments combined with tightly cross-linked aliphatic polyurethane, pre-reacted polyurethane and siloxane resin systems to produce a family of ultra-violet, abrasion and chemical resistant finishes for its targeted markets. Precision’s PC3v100 commercial architectural aliphatic polyurethane finish, PC5 siloxane finish and PC6 waterborne polyurethane finish are available in solid, iridescent and metallic colors, under 100 grams per liter VOC and able to be applied over a wide variety of substrates common in the commercial architectural market.

PC3 System

At 25 grams per liter VOC or less, PC3v100 provides excellent color retention and durability as a finish coat for exterior and interior surfaces on commercial and institutional architecture. PC3v100 is available in solid, metallic and iridescent colors ranging in reflectance from gloss to matte. PC3v100 provides architects and designers a broad palette of optical affects for accents, mullions and full exteriors of entire multi-story structures. PC3v100 is also available in ultra-low VOC clears that are frequently used for high quality and robust wood finishing. The PC3v100 clear is used to refinish restaurant interiors when tight production schedules demand a quality finish that stands up to hot plates and spilled drinks on the next shift.

Reflect 3000

Reflect 3000 is an infra-red reflective coating that keeps substrates cooler even when dark or deep colors are utilized that traditionally are heat absorbent. An example of the use of Reflect 3000 is the renovation of metal roofs, curtain walls and on sidewalls to reduce substrate and structure heating. By lowering substrate temperatures, expansion and contraction of structures is reduced and the lifecycle of the coating system is extended. In some cases, dependent on structure type, insulation and location, energy costs for cooling can be reduced.

PC4 System

PC4 solid colors, metallic and clear is a finish grade, densely cross-linked acrylic aliphatic polyurethane coating system developed for shop application in the fleet/automotive and OEM market. PC4 is a proven performance finish system meeting both the aesthetic and durability requirements of the fleet operator and OEM manufacturer. PC4 can be cut and buffed from 24 to 72 hours to produce a high quality high gloss finish.

PC5 Siloxane

PC5 siloxane finish is a superior color and gloss retentive finish in a non-isocyanate resin system at less than 100 grams per liter VOC. Low odor PC5 is available in solid colors, metallics, iridescents, clears, IR reflective, gloss, semi-gloss, satin, egg-shell and matte finish. PC5 is LEED 2009 compliant.

PC6 Single Component / High Performance Waterborne Polyurethane

Precision Coatings PC6 is a high performance single component waterborne polyurethane available in metallic, iridescent and solid colors. PC6 is low odor and less than 75 grams per liter VOC. Designed for both interior and exterior application, PC6 provides excellent color and gloss retention in an easy to apply single component coating. PC6 is available in a gloss, semi-gloss, satin and egg-shell finish. PC6 has the performance of a two component polyurethane yet contains no reactive isocyanate. PC6 can be applied in occupied space due to its very low odor and no reactive isocyanates. PC6 is a durable, LEED compliant finish with excellent abrasion resistance.

SlipShield 1000 Slip Resistant Floor Sealer

SlipShield 1000 is a slip-resistant, weatherable floor sealer for application by specialty flooring applicators. Precision SlipShield 1000 provides a slip-resistant flooring system for ceramic tile, polished stone, polished concrete and previously coated floors. In third party lab testing, Precision’s SlipShield 1000 improved the coefficient of friction to .81 on dry ceramic tile and to .54 on wet (water) ceramic tile. Precision SlipShield 1000 is available in gloss, semi-gloss or satin clear finishes and a variety of colors.

DTM 1300 High Build Primer

DTM 1300 primer is a surface tolerant direct to metal corrosion resistant modified epoxy primer. DTM 1300 is easily sanded to provide a smooth high grade surface for finish coating with PC3, PC4 or PC5. DTM primers are ultra-violet resistant so they can be used under metallic and iridescent finish coats.

DTM 1600 Waterborne Urethane Bonding Primer

DTM 1600 may be applied directly over properly prepared substrates including steel, aluminum, galvanizing, and decorative metals such as copper and brass as well as concrete, masonry, wood, MDF, and drywall.
