Precision Coatings has been manufacturing high quality fine finishes since 1959. Our roots are in automotive refinish and fleet coatings market where we continue to service a diverse group of customers. Precision’s commitment to quality, performance and VOC compliant coatings now includes the commercial architectural market, the recreational marine market and the OEM market. We have a significant color offering including metallics, pearls and solid colors in a broad range of sheens including, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and gloss. Our products include high grade acrylic aliphatic polyurethanes, single component waterborne polyurethanes, polysiloxane epoxies and modified corrosion resistant epoxy primers. Precision Coatings is strongly committed to developing extended life cycle coatings that not only meet, but exceed environmental standards. Precision has introduced in the last twenty-four months occupied space application friendly performance coatings including PC5 polysiloxane epoxy, PC6 waterborne polyurethane, DTM 1600 waterborne polyurethane corrosion resistant bonding primer, SlipShield 1000 slip resistant flooring sealer and EeZeClean Dry Erase Coatings. The recent introductions are all low odor, low VOC and LEED compliant.

Precision Coatings…becomes Precision Coatings

After more than three decades supplying automotive refinish shops in North America and more recently Europe, Precision’s then-corporate parent committed to an R and D program that resulted in the development of a single stage acrylic aliphatic polyurethane with performance that met and, in fact, exceeded the top offerings of major automotive paint suppliers in America and Europe. Advancements in the technology continued with a full line of single stage acrylic low VOC urethanes and corrosion resistant primers introduced in 2001 under the Precision Coatings name.

In 2001, Precision Coatings began selling automotive grade metallic, iridescent and solid color low VOC acrylic polyurethane coatings to the environmentally sensitive California commercial architectural market. Today Precision Coatings, as a privately held, stand-alone company, continues to supply the commercial architectural market, the fleet/automotive refinish market, the OEM market and the recreational marine market with low and ultra-low VOC coatings that include corrosion resistant epoxy and polyurethane primers, acrylic aliphatic polyurethane finish coats, polysiloxane finish coats, IR reflective and graffiti resistant coatings. Precision Coatings also produces a slip resistant, ultra-violet resistant clear and solid color floor sealer for ceramic tile, polished stone, concrete and coated flooring.
